say CHEEEEEEEEEEEESE~

Ok, this is another recipe that i've tried yesterday.....as a dessert....hehehe...it is called:


LIGHT BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE!

Also taken from another powerful blog, HASUE: I LOVE MY LIFE....

I did modify a lil bit...but still, credits must be given to Hasue: I Love My Life for simple but fluffy cheese cake!

LIGHT BLUEBERRY CHEESE CAKE
Recipe : HASUE: I LOVE MY LIFE

Bahan2:

300ml susu segar
6 keping keju kraft ~ i used 250g cream cheese..
3 biji telur gred A
90g gula halus
110g tepung gandum
1 sudu kecil esen vanilla
110g mentega/marjerin ~ i used farm cow's buttercup
Blueberry filling secukupnya~ i used blueberry jam. could find the filling at my in law's village

Cara2:

Panaskan oven pada suhu 180c,gris loyang dgn mentega dan tabur tepung atau alaskan dengan baking paper.
Dengan api perlahan,panaskan susu dalam periuk dan masukkan kepingan keju. Kacau sehingga cair dan masukkan mentega/marjerin.Kacau sehingga mencair dan ketepikan.
Asingkan putih dan kuning telur(kuning telur diletak di dalam bekas yg agak besar untuk 1 adunan)
Pukul putih telur bersama gula halus sehingga menjadi meringue(adunan betul2 ringan sehingga bekas diterbalikkan adunan x tumpah)
Pukul kuning telur sehingga berkrim dan tambahkan adunan susu yg dipanaskan tadi..kacau perlahan.
Ayakkan tepung gandum ke dalam adunan dan kaup balik sehingga sebati.
Setelah itu masukkan adunan meringue dan kaup balik lagi sehingga sekata
Masukkan esen vanilla dan sebatikan adunan
Ambil loyang yg sudah digris tadi dan masukkan 2 senduk adunan,picitkan blueberry filling (gunakan icing bag atau plastik bersih yg digunting sedikit hujungnya)dengan cara bulatan di sekeliling adunan.
Setelah itu cedukkan lagi 2 sudu dan ulang langkah 9 sehingga adunan habis
Bakar pada suhu 175c menggunakan kaedah bain marie(letakkan loyang adunan di dalam loyang lebih besar yg berisi air panas ketika membakar) selama 50 minit atau sehingga masak(bergantung pada jenis oven)

The result?..jeng jeng jeng.....

yesterday i went back to my in-laws' house...as usual, we cooked together...since last week, i was craving for cheese cake and i decided to do it...after buying the ingredients, i started baking...actually yesterday i managed to bake and cook at the same time...i helped my sister in law with her famous "Kalasan Chicken"...it tasted really delicious! i've jotted down the recipe from her and insyaAllah, if i had the time to cook that particular dish, i 'll share it here...

ok, enough talking...firstly, i will share with u a recipe that i've tried yesterday..this recipe is created by this cool blog called LOVE2COOK MALAYSIA. Thanks for sharing this recipe! my family love it soo much!

here we go!

Hot & Spicy Mayonnaise Prawn Fry

Ingredients :~

(A)
1 kg large prawn ~ skinned & veined, leave the tail intact
1 egg ~ beaten
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp salt
(B)
2 cm ginger ~ chopped
5 lemongrass stalks ~ sliced lengthwise ~ i used 4 only
10 - 15 nos bird's eye chilli ~ chopped ( reduce or add as you wish )~i used red chilli
3 - 4 tbsp chilli sauce / Thai chilli sauce
1 tsp sweet soy sauce
1/2 cup water
salt
1 1/2 tbsp mayonnaise ~i added up another spoon..
cooking oil

Method :~
In a bowl, mix together ingredients (A) and let to marinate for 15 minutes.
Fry the marinated prawn in oil until golden. Drain on a separate plate.
Reduce oil, stir fry ginger and lemongrass until fragrant. Add bird's eye chilli and mix.
Add chilli sauce and sweet soy sauce, stir. Add water and salt, let the gravy boil.
Mix in the fried prawns.
Quickly add mayonnaise and mix thoroughly. Ready to serve. ;)

Ramadhan Al-Mubarak...A blessed month.

Salam to all....

Today is 1st August...first day of Fasting month...Alhamdulillah..i am so grateful to be able to celebrate this month for the first time as a wife...and also first time without my parent...i feel a lil bit sad because my mom is not here with us anymore
..its a bit awkward actually..but life must go on....(sigh...)

ok, i am so excited to spend the rest of the month with my husband and my in laws...its a new beginning in my life's chapter and i hope it will be ok....this morning i woke up at 430 am n helped my sister in serving the table....i cooked 'ikan tongkol masak pedas' and 'sayur air' last night....yummy....the rest of the meal were cooked by my sis earlier...we started eating at about 515 am and finished at 535 am....after that we cleared the table n started watching football match...hehehehe...

as for this month, the working hours are different..usually we thumb in at 9 am, but now, we thumb in at 830 and go back at 5 pm...at this moment i am thinking about what to have for break fast...hehehehe...feel a bit sleepy now....zzzzz
